lost in recent years. This often leads to him writing some rather
bizarre satire, or even having some humor in even his most serious

The Color of Green: Brian David Smith
-a very ordinary Elf and by profession, an ineffective diplomat, is
employed by a new mayor with dreams of much gold and many
women. He must stop the fighting (that threatens the local town)
between hunters and environmentalists—over the fate of an
imprisoned Green Dragon. The Elf, with some outside
intervention, frees the Dragon in hopes of diffusing the situation.
Then comes payday.
